Lea Hungerbühler, LL.M.

Lea’s main area of expertise is Swiss and EU financial regulation, with a special focus on cross-border business and FinTech. She worked for several years for major Swiss and international law firms in the banking department as well as for the State Secretariat for International Financial Matters. Before joining LEXIMPACT, she earned her LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School.
Besides her work as an attorney-at-law, Lea has a mandate as vice-president of the cantonal court in Basel-Landschaft. In 2017, Lea founded the Swiss human rights organization AsyLex, where she is currently the president of the board. Furthermore, Lea is a member of the board of a FINMA-supervised asset manager.
Dr. Remy Zgraggen

Remy’s main area of expertise is Swiss and EU financial regulation, with a special focus on InsurTech, cross-border business and IT law. He worked for several years for major Swiss insurance companies and law firms.
Before joining Leximpact, he worked for the Financial Market Authority Liechtenstein (FMA) in Vaduz. Besides his work as an attorney-at-law, Remy is a soccer referee in the Swiss Football League (SFL). Moreover, Remy worked for the Lausanne University as a research and teaching assistant in insurance law.

Rebecca’s practice focuses on financial market regulation with a special focus on banking and FinTech, as well as on labor and migration law.
After studying law at the University of Zurich and Thessaloniki, Rebecca was admitted to the Zurich Bar in 2012. She has more than a decade of experience as in-house counsel and deputy general counsel in regulated companies; Rebecca has worked for a major insurance company, one of the big three mobile operators, private banks, a crowdfunding and crowdlending FinTech and a DLT digital asset trading facility.
In 2021, Rebecca successfully completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Financial Market Law at the University of Zurich. Since 2024, she has been Head Legal of the Swiss FinTech Association (SFTA) fostering the development of the FinTech ecosystem in Switzerland.
Rebecca is registered with the attorney’s register of the Canton of Zurich and admitted to all Swiss courts and authorities.
In addition to her work as a lawyer, Rebecca is a passionate rock climber and enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, all over in the world.
